All I see is you.
When you feel alone, like the walls are closing in, remember I’m here too. I know your world has changed and the days feel a little lonely. But they aren’t lonely for me.
You are my everything.
I can’t see past you right now mama, because you are my world.
It will get bigger, soon enough.
All I see is you.

What to expect

First off, welcome to the Mamma club! Becoming a mom is a much higher calling than I ever expected. It's all consuming, exhausting, lonely, and yet one of the best things you will ever experience. The beginning days will feel like years, and then all of a sudden, you are waking up to a three year old wanting to paint your nails at 6am (my kids are all still young!).

Your session will usually last around two hours, maintaining a relaxed and candid documentary style throughout.

What is your style for this session?

As a lifestyle newborn photographer, my approach is to arrive and document the natural activities unfolding. We can plan ahead for certain activities, like giving the baby a bath, cuddling on the couch, playing with siblings, or having an older sibling select clothes for the baby. While I will capture a few individual shots of the baby, the focus will primarily be on capturing the authentic moments of your lifestyle.

How long is this session?

Newborn sessions can take a little longer. As a new parent, you will soon see that babies are unpredictable. You will most likely need to nurse, feed your baby, or change diapers a few times. I know how challenging this time can be, so I will never rush through a session. I want you to love this session and these photos!

Do you do posed newborn photos?

I don't do posed photos, wraps, or set ups. I will take a few of just your baby, but this is a session with everyone involved.
